It’s that time of year again, Inktober. This is an exciting time of year for me because I get to push myself artistically.
If you’re not familiar with what Inktober is then let me tell you. All it is, is a drawing challenge that takes place every October and lasts the entire month. Each day is given a word, completely randomly I think, and it’s up to you as the artist to get creative about it. Also, as you’ve probably already guessed it, you should create your drawings in ink.
I think the main idea of Inktober is to push you to do two things: Draw more consistently and try and think more push yourself by drawing things and topics you wouldn’t normally draw. For me, it’s an absolute thrill and I look forward to it every year.
So, without further ado, I present this year’s Inktober illustrations.
