One of my passions and goals in life is to illustrate children’s books. So, one of my focuses while practicing my illustration now is to dial a look and feel that fits my style while gearing it more towards kids.
I’ve been practicing more on texture, feel and color to try and generate more interest in the art. Procreate for the iPad has a lot of great features and it can seem overwhelming but like most things the more time I spend in the program the more comfortable and free I feel to experiment.
These illustrations below are just a few of the latest illustrations I’ve done that uses texture, color and composition to create more interest. I really like the feel of these and I’m excited to see how my art progresses as I get more experience in Procreate.
