AI is most useful in post when it removes friction without pretending to replace judgment.

Where it saves real time

Transcription, searchable interview selects, rough cleanup, temporary asset generation, and version planning can all move faster. These are meaningful gains because they create more time for creative decisions.

Where I stay skeptical

Taste, pacing, tone, and the final relationship between picture and sound still need a human point of view. Automation can generate options; it cannot decide what the work should mean.

The goal is not an AI-made edit. It is a better edit made with a more capable toolkit.
